An afternoon dedicated to regional wine expertise, exchange, and – as the highlight – the new vintage of our Sauvignac.

Around 40 long-standing partners and companions accepted our invitation to Randersacker and enjoyed a delightful afternoon in a special atmosphere. At the center of the event was our Sauvignac – a grape variety that has been growing on shell limestone soil directly next to our company building since 2019 and represents our sustainable approach to viticulture.

Sauvignac, a fungus-resistant PIWI grape variety derived from Sauvignon, Riesling, and a resistant partner, combines aromatic freshness with remarkable resilience. It helps to significantly reduce the use of plant protection products and contributes to making viticulture more sustainable and future-proof. Following the first bottling in 2023, we were now able to present the new 2025 vintage and compare it directly with the 2024 vintage in an exciting side-by-side tasting.

After the reception and welcome, guests gained current insights into the topic of nocturnal blood pressure through the presentation “Blood Pressure Reloaded.” In his lecture, Dr. Gert Küchler particularly highlighted the importance of nighttime blood pressure for assessing cardiovascular risk, as well as the resulting need for precise and undisturbed measurements during sleep. According to current findings, the treatment of hypertension depends directly on how blood pressure behaves during the night.

Guests with less interest in the medical topic had the opportunity to join a guided walk through the vineyards to the renowned “Randersackerer Sonnenstuhl” vineyard site.

The wine tasting followed: In addition to Sauvignac, we presented selected regional wines – ranging from fresh Secco and classic Silvaner to aromatic Scheurebe, distinctive Kerner varieties, and a premium single-vineyard wine. Expertly guided, the tasting became a diverse journey through the world of Franconian wine, with Sauvignac consistently taking center stage.

The afternoon concluded with a shared BBQ, a small wine market, and musical accompaniment, creating a relaxed atmosphere for conversation, networking, and enjoyment.
