The World Hypertension Congress in Chennai, India

The World Hypertension Congress in Chennai, India, has come to a close, and we would like to express our sincere thanks for three exciting days focused on hypertension.

At our SOMNOmedics booth and during our session on 24-hour blood pressure monitoring, we had the opportunity to engage in numerous insightful conversations and establish valuable contacts with both customers and distributors. The well attended session, chaired by Prof. Gianfranco Parati, MD, primarily focused on nocturnal blood pressure, the challenges associated with its measurement, and its relevance for the assessment of overall blood pressure throughout the day. The two workshops, conducted in collaboration with Dr. Tomas L. Bothe, M.D., Ph.D. from Charité Berlin, also attracted a lot of attention from the professional audience.

As the congress was held in India for the first time, it was a great opportunity to introduce our innovative solutions for long-term blood pressure monitoring to a wide Indian audience.
