At the ERS Congress 2026 in Barcelona, SOMNOmedics presented the latest solutions for comfortable, reliable and efficient sleep diagnostics. The focus was on the SOMNOtouch™ wireless: this wireless polygraphy system allows greater freedom of movement and facilitates examinations under sleep conditions that are as natural as possible. At the same time, the simple set-up and automatic sensor detection make it easier for patients and healthcare professionals to use.
A living statue at our exhibition stand attracted particular attention. The artist was initially connected to numerous cables. As soon as visitors cut one of the cables, the statue came to life and interacted with them. This allowed visitors to experience the key message of wireless polygraphy first-hand in an entertaining way: fewer cables, greater comfort and greater freedom of movement. The performance led to many surprised faces, delight and numerous conversations at the stand.
Furthermore, SOMNOmedics demonstrated how different diagnostic requirements can be flexibly accommodated: the OtwoFellow enables simple oximetry screening in the home environment and provides important indications of sleep-related breathing disorders. When combined with the HomeSleepTest, it provides a more comprehensive picture based on objective sleep data and cardiorespiratory parameters. Complementary polygraph solutions offer suitable configurations for a range of outpatient and inpatient applications.
For SOMNOmedics, efficient data analysis is also an integral part of a complete diagnostic solution. DOMINO AI supports rapid, objective and reproducible sleep analysis. Together with automatic respiratory scoring, this simplifies workflows and reduces the burden on healthcare professionals during data analysis.
