Advancing Research, Shaping the Future – SOMNOmedics at ESH 2025

At the European Society of Hypertension (ESH) 2025, we presented our latest solutions in the field of non-invasive cardiodiagnostics – and were able to celebrate a special highlight:

SOMNOmedics congratulates Dr. Tomas L. Bothe, M.D. Ph.D. (Charité Berlin) on winning the Young Investigator Award!

The €5,000 prize was awarded by an independent scientific committee at the ESH Congress – and sponsored by SOMNOmedics.
Dr. Bothe’s outstanding research was honored:
“Nocturnal Blood Pressure Fluctuations and Non-Dipping Patterns in Obstructive Sleep Apnoea: A Novel Approach for Detection and Treatment Monitoring”. The study provides new approaches for the detection and monitoring of high blood pressure patterns in obstructive sleep apnea – a significant advance for diagnosis and treatment.

We are particularly pleased that our innovative blood pressure monitors – the ABPMpro and the SOMNOtouch™ NIBP – were able to make a valuable contribution to this research.
Both systems enable precise, non-invasive long-term measurements and provide important findings for modern diagnostics in the field of cardiovascular diseases.

From May 23 to 26, 2025, we presented both devices live at our stand at the ESH Congress in Milan.
