Sleep disorders, such as insomnia, are a very common condition. Difficulty falling or staying asleep, waking up early in the morning, frequent night-time awakenings or morning fatigue can significantly impair mood, resilience and cognitive performance.
Current research highlights the significant impact of sleep disturbances. Nevertheless, assessments in everyday clinical practice are usually based on subjective reports – objective methods for detailed assessment, particularly in cases of insomnia, have been lacking until now. As a result, patterns, disturbances and correlations often remain hidden.
Objective sleep data provide clarity: They reveal hidden patterns and provide your diagnosis with an evidence-based foundation.
The HomeSleepTest (HST) is an easy-to-use screening tool for sleep analysis in the home setting. Over several nights, it provides objective and valid sleep data – providing a reliable complement to clinical assessment.
Already established in numerous practices, the HomeSleepTest has proven eff ective in everyday care.
Using EEG, EOG, and EMG, the HomeSleepTest accurately records deep, light, and REM sleep, as well as arousals. Additional parameters such as snoring, head position, head movement, and ambient light allow for a detailed assessment of time in bed (TIB).

The HomeSleepTest is applied using a unique, disposable 3-button adhesive electrode on the forehead and a separate adhesive electrode on the mastoid. The innovative shape of the forehead electrode allows a particularly simple and safe application and at the same time a reliable recording of the EEG/EOG and EEG channels.
This standard version is particularly easy to use for the patien

The HomeSleepTest REM+ is applied using four separate disposable adhesive electrodes. The AASM-compliant position of the EOG electrodes improves the recording of horizontal and vertical eye movements and facilitates the evaluation of REM sleep.
The measurement procedure and the 11 recorded signals are identical for both systems. The sensor used is automatically detected, and the tablet guides the patient through the application using the relevant video
OtwoFellow works exclusively with the HomeSleepTest, enhancing it with cardiorespiratory data and integrated pulse oximetry – delivering deeper relevant sleep insights.
