HIGHLIGHTS of our Neurology systems:
“The SOMNO HD / HD ECO and SOMNOscreen™ plus are mobile devices for continuous recording as well as displaying and the storage of biophysical parameters. They can be used both as a Polysomnography (PSG) – system for the support of a diagnosis of sleep disturbances, and as a long-term EEG equipment for the support of an epilepsy diagnosis.
The systems can be used by healthcare professionals in patients from the first month of life in a clinical environment (hospitals, practices, sleep centres, research facilities, the patients home and in an ambulatory environment).
The EEG (with possible photo stimulation) can help determine seizure type and epilepsy syndrome in children, adolescents and adults suspected of having epilepsy. In addition to the EEG, it is possible to record other parameters such as EOG, EMG, ECG, respiration, SpO2, ambient light, body position and activity.
The software suite – DOMINO – which comes as part of the system offers the possibility to record video signals and signals of external devices synchronously to the data of the SOMNO HD / HD ECO and SOMNOscreen™ plus basic device.
Just over 15 years ago, the SOMNOscreen™ was our first PSG system. It was so small and lightweight that it could be worn by the patient, allowing unprecedented mobility and comfort during measurements.
Our innovations, such as phase angle analysis, continuous blood pressure measurement without a cuff and our innovative sensors – like our intercostal EMG, or combi-electrode for simplified sleep staging determination – are born out of solving everyday problems found in sleep medicine.
