Artificial Intelligence in Future Sleep Medicine” was our topic at this year’s annual meeting of the German Sleep Society (DGSM) at the end of October. Stanford University’s Prof. Emmanuel Mignot gave an outlook on the future application possibilities of artificial intelligence (AI).
The AI allows for a faster and more objective evaluation of sleep stages and thus a reduction of this time- and cost-intensive factor in sleep diagnostics. Currently, SOMNOmedics is working at full speed on the further development of the Stanford AI. In future, another possible application field of AI will be the evaluation of measurements made with our new Home Sleep Test for insomnia diagnostics.
